UniFi U7 Pro XG access point
The UniFi U7 Pro XG combines WiFi 7 with a 10 GbE Ethernet port. Ubiquiti lists six spatial streams, 300+ clients and PoE+ power, with maximum consumption of 22 W.

These are Ubiquiti’s published specifications, checked on 19 September 2026. Client counts are planning references; they do not guarantee that every connected device can sustain a particular speed.
Radio rates and real throughput
Ubiquiti lists peak radio rates of 5.8 Gbps on 6 GHz, 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. These correspond to channel widths of 320, 240 and 40 MHz respectively.
A radio link rate is different from measured file-transfer speed. Do not add those figures together and present the result as the speed a single client will receive. Client capabilities, signal conditions and other traffic all matter when planning a deployment.
Power and installation
Check the power available at the switch port and across the switch’s total PoE budget. Also check the Ethernet port speed separately: providing enough power does not establish a 10 GbE data connection.
Use Ubiquiti’s installation guide for the mounting and connection procedure. Have the installer confirm cabling, power and coverage for the building before purchasing equipment.

The XG’s faster uplink does not make it identical to the eight-stream models. Choose based on the clients, coverage and traffic you need to support, alongside the power and switching already available.
Colour options and software requirements
U7 Pro XG in black and white
The white model requires UniFi Network 9.0.114 or later; the black model requires 9.1.120 or later according to the specification sheet. Check your controller version before deployment.
Buying and deployment
Check the Ubiquiti Store for your region’s current price, availability and purchase terms. For an office, school or event venue, have an engineer plan AP placement and capacity against the expected workload. The advertised client count alone is not a venue design.
