Understanding the Process
Before you start, you should know that deleting a site from the UniFi Controller is irreversible. This action will permanently erase all data, settings, and configurations associated with the site. Make sure you ran a backup before proceeding.
Access the UniFi Controller
Log in to your UniFi Controller. This can be done through the web interface or the UniFi Network application. Make sure that you have the admin rights to delete sites.
Go to the Site Settings
Once logged in, find the current site name on the bottom left of the dashboard. Click on it to open a list of all your sites. Select the site you wish to delete to enter its specific settings.
Enter Site Settings
In the site's dashboard, locate the settings gear icon, usually found at the bottom left of the screen. Click on it to access the site's settings.
Locate the Delete Option
Inside the site settings, scroll down to find the 'Delete Site' option. This is typically found towards the bottom of the list, under the section labeled 'Site Configuration' or a similar term.
Confirm the Deletion
Click on 'Delete Site'. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Remember, you can't undo this action. If you are sure, confirm your choice.
Final Checks
The system may ask for final confirmation or require you to type in the name of the site to ensure the site is not deleted by accident. Once you've done this, the site will be permanently deleted from your UniFi Controller.
