UniFi Hosting alternatives: pricing and support
Compare the hosting plan that fits your device count, support needs and client setup. We run UniHosted, one of the providers discussed here. Prices and vendor features below were checked on September 18, 2026; Ubiquiti's prices on September 25, 2026. UniHosted prices are in EUR; HostiFi and Ubiquiti prices are in USD.
Official UniFi Hosting
Ubiquiti sells Official UniFi Hosting in two plans, according to its sign-up flow: $29/month for up to 100 UniFi Network devices and $99/month for up to 1,000. Management runs through Site Manager.
Check the support, backup and migration terms for the subscription you intend to buy. We have not established a comparable support quote for your setup, so we do not add a hypothetical support fee to the hosting price.
UniHosted
Our paid plans provide dedicated controller hosting, daily backups, tested updates, custom domains and IP access control. Migration assistance is included when moving from self-hosting, another provider or our Free plan.

Free has no backups, custom domain, backup import or IP access control. We test release candidates internally and wait for stability confirmation before rolling updates out to Free, then paid controllers. SLA coverage is available only on Enterprise and depends on the contract. See our current pricing.
HostiFi
HostiFi’s published monthly plans are $19 for 25 devices, $99 for 250 and $249 for 1,000, with unlimited sites. The move from the first to the second tier adds $80/month.
The entry tier lists migration assistance, community Slack and five-day backup retention. The $99 tier adds email/chat support, update testing and scheduling, custom domains and 30-day retention. The $249 tier adds phone support, SSH access and 90-day retention.

Managed hosting or self-hosting?
Self-hosting can suit a home lab or a team that wants to maintain its own server. Account for installation, updates, backups and recovery work when comparing costs. With managed hosting, check exactly which responsibilities the provider takes on.
