UniFi Network Application 8.4.62: What's New?
The latest UniFi Network Application 8.4.62 is now available, bringing improvements and critical bug fixes aimed at enhancing your networking experience. Below is a breakdown of the key updates.
Key Improvements:
- Enhanced DNS Shield Server Validation: This ensures better security and DNS resolution stability across networks.
Notable Bug Fixes:
- IGMP Proxy Issue: Resolved an issue preventing users from updating settings after upgrading to version 8.4.59. This occurred when the setup had IGMP Proxy settings without a supporting gateway.
- Port Profile Fixes: Fixed problems where UniFi Gateways encountered configuration issues when assigning port profiles with disabled ports.
- System Logs UI Issue: The incomplete display of navigation tabs in system logs on smaller screens has been resolved.
- Device Readiness Display: Devices now consistently show the "Getting Ready" state when in that state.
- VLAN Magic Fixes: Resolved rare instances where VLANs could not be deleted.
- NAT Settings: Fixed the inability to open NAT settings in rare cases.
Compatibility Updates:
- MongoDB and Java Support:
- MongoDB 3.6 and Java 17 are required for UniFi Network Application 7.5 and above.
- Versions 7.5 to 8.0 support MongoDB up to 4.4, while versions 8.1 and newer support MongoDB up to 7.0.

For those using UniFi OS, this version is compatible with UDM, UDR, Express, and UCG-Ultra running UniFi OS 3.1.6 or newer.
